When you have a disability, looking for work or finding a job you like can be a complicated process. Alternative pathways like Supported Employment help people with disability get a job and enter the workforce with confidence.

How do I know if I’m eligible to be a supported employee?

There are certain requirements you need to meet to be able to become a Supported Employee at Help.

Are you:

Over 18 years old,
On a NDIS plan, and,
Willing and able to work at least 8 hours per week?

If you said yes to the above, then good news – you may be eligible for Supported Employment!

What type of jobs are available for Supported Employment (SEM)?

We give you the chance to work in a variety of industries, so you can see what suits you best.

We have jobs in:

Manufacturing and production
Supply chain services
Horticulture
Administration
Hospitality

What other employment programs are available?

Help offers multiple employment pathways to suit your needs. If SEM isn’t the right path for you, then Disability Employment Services or School Leaver Employment Supports might be a better fit.

School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) is a program of individualised support for school leavers and recent high school graduates. We help you build the skills and confidence to find and maintain a fulfilling job.

Disability Employment (DES) is tailored support for people with disability, illness, injury, or health conditions to prepare for, find, and maintain work. Our coaches help you get job-ready and find work you enjoy. And when you’ve got the job, we provide ongoing support and coaching.
