Success Stories

Stuart recently returned from the Special Olympics with a gold (or three) in Bocce, and has been selected as 1 of 66 athletes to join the Australian team headed for Berlin in 2023.
Whilst training for the games, Stuart has also been juggling his transition into our Third Party Logistics (3PL) team.
Over the past 6 years, supported employee Stuart has been honing his skills in HELP’s Supply Chain Services by doing jobs like packing and sorting, palletising, and transporting stock.
However, having set a new employment goal earlier this year Stuart has begun working with his Support Worker Satty to start training in our 3PL team.
On a regular shift in 3PL Stuart will pick and pack orders, fill in paperwork and work alongside his teammates to prioritize different jobs. When things get super busy (as they often do at our Eagle Farm site), Stuart also jumps in to help out with palletising stock to make life easier for our forklift drivers.
At times when work does get a little hectic Stuart leans on Satty to help him de-stress with positive affirmations and funny stories.
Stuart says he’s learnt lots of new skills at work, including how to stay safe at work, and is happy to have made such great friends during his time at HELP.
One day Stuart would like to retire from professional Bocce, take up coaching, and pursue more study to get his drivers licence and forklift licence.
We’re looking forward to seeing what Stuart achieves on and off the Bocce green in the coming months…stay tuned!
